Harneys London recognised as top tier in Chambers UK rankings

For the ninth consecutive year, Chambers has recommended Harneys as a band 1 firm for offshore British Virgin Islands law, describing the firm as “practical and very easy to work with”. The firm has also retained its band 2 ranking for offshore Cayman Islands law.

Phillip Kite, the global head of the firm’s Litigation, Insolvency and Restructuring group and managing partner of the London office, was recognised for his expertise in BVI related commercial disputes, with sources stating: “he is a very wise and insightful litigator.” Partner Indira Birkwood was noted for her advice in relation to BVI banking and finance matters. Clients say “she is impressive and thorough – a very solid and reliable lawyer.” Partner William Peake was recognised for his contentious restructuring and insolvency-focused practice. Sources describe him as “very client-focused and very responsive.” Partner Rachel Graham was newly ranked for her BVI corporate expertise, working with companies on a range of issues including IPOs and M&A.
