Within the law firm, opportunities exist in our finance, information technology, operations, development, compliance and human resources departments. We recognize that top quality support teams are essential to the development of our leading legal and corporate services business, and so we invest in development and training of our staff. Students
Harneys offers summer placements to students in the penultimate year of their legal studies. There are 2 placements available each year in our London Office, one from March to June and the other from July to August. The summer programme is an excellent way to get a feel for the firm and our various practice areas, and any student who thrives in the internship is also likely to do well in the professional development programme.
Harneys has also prepared a guide on the legal profession, directed at secondary or tertiary students in the BVI who are considering a career in law.
