Aki is a Senior Associate in the firm's Regulatory Group, having joined Harneys in October 2008 from London law firm Denton Wilde Sapte LLP. Aki specialises in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious regulation as well as investments. He has extensive background advising clients on anti-money laundering regulation, banking matters, investment management and custody arrangments
Prior to joining Harneys Aki advised on, and negotiated, derivative transactions and repurchase agreements. He spent time on secondment at Goldman Sachs International in London.
Aki is also fluent in Italian.
