Expertise and Professional Background
Paul joined Harneys in 2008 from another leading international offshore law firm. He is the resident partner of the Hong Kong office and heads up Harneys' practice in Asia. Prior to moving offshore, he held the position of Legal Director (Europe) with GE Capital based in Belgium, and Region Counsel (Asia Pacific) with General Electric based in Singapore. From 1985 to 1992, he practised law with the law firm of Freshfields in London and Singapore, specializing in banking and finance.
His current areas of practice include all corporate and commercial disciplines, particularly in relation to acquisitions, investment funds and securities exchange listings.
Member of the Congress of the Fellows of the Center for International Legal Studies.
