Expertise and Professional Background
Jonathan is a Partner in our London office and heads up our Cayman Islands law practice in London. His practice focuses on the establishment of offshore hedge, venture capital and private equity funds and the structuring of private equity portfolio acquisitions and disposals. He also has extensive onshore and offshore experience of structured and project finance including repackagings, securitisations, segregated portfolio company debt issuances, derivatives and major oil and gas financings.
Prior to joining Harneys in 2008, Jonathan spent seven years at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer working on structured and acquisition finance matters and then joined Walkers in the Cayman Islands where he continued to advise on structured finance transactions but also developed a leading private equity and investment funds practice.
