Expertise and Professional Background
Rachel has been practising British Virgin Islands law since 2004 and became a partner in 2009. Rachel is presently located in Harneys’ London office where she is involved in and regularly advises on all aspects of corporate and commercial law including AIM listings, corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. Rachel also has experience in banking and finance transactions. Prior to joining Harneys in 2007, Rachel was an Associate in the Corporate Department of Walkers in the British Virgin Islands.
Rachel trained with Simmons & Simmons in London and Hong Kong and qualified into the Corporate Department of the Hong Kong office in September 1997. She practised in the Projects Department of the Sydney office and in the Corporate Department of the London office of Minter Ellison and prior to re-locating to the BVI, Rachel was working in the Corporate Department of Ashurst in London.
