Expertise and Professional Background
Horacio joined Harneys in August 2008 as a member of the Latin American Practice, with particular focus in the development of trusts, estate and private wealth solutions for high net worth individuals and companies. His current practice encompasses the structuring and administration of a broad range of offshore vehicles including Private Trust Companies, Private Foundations, BVI Companies and Limited Partnerships, and Trusts.
Prior to joining Harneys Horacio worked in the British Virgin Islands office of Citco Corporate & Trust as head of the Latin American Division, providing a wide range of corporate and fiduciary services to wealthy individuals, multinational corporations, banks, financial institutions, law firms and asset management firms. Before that, he practiced for 5 years at the Buenos Aires office of Marval, O'Farrell & Mairal, Argentina's largest law firm, advising both public and private companies in all types of corporate and financial matters. He is fluent in English, Spanish and transactional Portuguese.
