We are pleased to announce that Richard Brown has re-joined the firm as Counsel in the London Litigation and Restructuring practice. Richard is an experienced litigation lawyer and advocate, specialising in cases involving cross-border insolvency, fraud and asset tracing, contentious trust matters and shareholder disputes. He is particularly experienced in contentious insolvency and restructuring matters, as well as complex international fraud litigation, and has worked on some of the most significant fraud cases in recent years, including the Kazakh BTA Bank v Ablyazov litigation.
Richard has previously worked in Harneys’ BVI office and is admitted as an advocate in that jurisdiction. He has had senior roles in leading international firms Hogan Lovells and Fieldfisher, and has gained additional offshore experience at a leading offshore firm in Jersey.
Harneys’ London Litigation and Restructuring team is the largest of any offshore law firm in London and has over 30 years’ combined experience working in the BVI and Cayman.
