Harneys has four new partners and two new directors, as revealed in the firm’s mid-year promotion announcement.
Partner promotions took place in the Cayman Islands*, Cyprus and Hong Kong offices; the new partners are Christopher Hall, Marc Parrott and Theodoros Zafiropoulos.
"The newest partners have been promoted based on their outstanding client work and commitment to the firm," stated Chairman Peter Tarn, extending his congratulations.
Christopher Hall, a member of the Cayman Islands practice, advises on the establishment and maintenance of all types of hedge and private equity funds. He also advises on a wide range of corporate and finance matters. He was recognised as a “next generation lawyer” by Legal 500 in 2017.
Marc Parrott in Hong Kong specialises in advising Cayman Islands and BVI investment funds with particular emphasis on private equity funds and hedge funds. He also has considerable experience advising on merger and acquisition transactions, joint ventures and restructurings.
Theodoros Zafiropoulos in Cyprus is a member of our Banking and Finance practice. He regularly acts for multilateral financial institutions, international and domestic banks, private equity funds and corporate borrowers in banking and corporate finance matters.
Harneys’ mid-year promotions also include Amy Roost and Macia Payne who become directors in its Fiduciary business.
Amy Roost, based in London, is responsible for monitoring and improving the global client experience.
Macia Payne leads the Incorporations, Company Administration and Funds Services teams in the British Virgin Islands.
Harneys now has 57 partners across 12 international locations, and a global headcount of over 550.
