Cross Border Litigation & Restructuring Seminar – 9 October 2018

On Tuesday 9 October 2018, the Cross Border Litigation & Restructuring seminar will return to Hong Kong.

A collection of elite professionals from Harneys, PwC, Deloitte, Mayer Brown, Houlihan Lokey, Herbert Smith Freehills, & EY will take the stage at Thomson Reuters’ premises to present at the second Cross Border Litigation & Restructuring Seminar.

A mock hearing for the case of Total Assets Ltd. v Sinn Sisamouth (a notorious fraudster) and Smoke and Mirrors Ltd. will be held with top barrister Victor Joffe QC acting as Offshore Judge, Harneys’ Ian Mann making submissions on behalf of the applicant, and Harneys’ Andrew Johnstone acting for the respondent.

The programme also consists of sessions on “Valuation 101: Section 238 Applications”, “Restructuring Market Trends & Current Challenges, and “HK to Offshore Court co-operation: Litigation in a cross border context”.
