CIMA updates on VASP registrations

The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) has published guidance to assist with application under the VASP regime.
CIMA reminded industry of the importance of submitting complete and high-quality registration or licensing applications and that an application for registration will not be processed by CIMA until it is complete. CIMA have noted that incomplete applications, insufficient information and inconsistent supporting documentation are common deficiencies that cause delay during the review of VASP applications.
