Felice Swapp

Biography

Felice Swapp is the chief operating officer of Harneys and serves on the firm’s Executive Committee. She has a range of leadership responsibilities, especially around firm strategy and direction as well as managing the firm-wide efforts to deliver related results. She also oversees the Knowledge Management, Security and Risk, Office Operations and Project Management teams. 

Felice joined Harneys in 2013 after multiple years in leadership positions in the US within the technology industry and the not-for-profit sector. Just prior to Harneys, she served as co-executive director of not-for-profit SFJAZZ (San Francisco Jazz) and led the critically acclaimed $65M SFJAZZ Center development project. Previous work includes roles as director of strategic initiatives at HP, COO of a social business startup focused on delivering technology and education services to poor rural communities in India and Mexico, and as a strategic management consultant with McKinsey and Company.

Felice holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Masters in Management from the University of Oxford, which she attended as a Rhodes Scholar. 

She was born in the Bahamas, spent her early years in the UK and was raised in various Caribbean countries. Her early life experiences launched a lifelong curiosity about and appreciation for what makes people, cultures, and communities special as well as what simultaneously underscores the fundamental truth that we all are one.
