Jacqueline Moody is a member of the Litigation and Restructuring team in our Hong Kong office. With over 10 years of litigation experience and a background in accounting, her practice focuses on corporate and commercial cases.
She has worked on multi-million dollar fraud cases that address the improper use of company funds and shareholder dispute cases about the acquisition of shareholdings through improper means. Jacqueline has also worked on several complex insolvency cases, including petitions based upon unique circumstances of statutory demands as well as petitions based upon a wide variety just and equitable grounds. She has been involved in the preparation and advice of annual general meetings of companies that are listed on the Hong Kong Exchange. She is currently working on a case that has been appealed to the Privy Council, an international receivership case and other high net worth cases.
Prior to joining us in 2017, Jacqueline worked in a leading law firm in the Cayman Islands where she handled an integral part of the defence in a multi-billion dollar fraud case. She has extensive experience in litigation in the United States prior to her experience in the Cayman Islands.
