Biography
Sarah Bolt joined us in 2018 and is a member of our Litigation and Insolvency practice group. She has a broad practise covering contentious aspects of commercial, insolvency, trust and estate litigation.
Sarah gained particular experience in contentious trust disputes, successfully mediating a number of disputes, and has worked on a number of successful and reported cases, including:
- Determining the rights of beneficiaries to demand disclosure from trustees in Lewis & Others v Tamplin & Others [2018]
- Resisting removal of trustee and challenge of costs, setting up and managing scheme for multiple PI claims in National Westminister Bank Plc v Luke Lucas & Others [2014]; and
- Determining the identity of trustees, construction and validity of trust, proprietary injunction, vicarious liability of trustee and costs in Bisrat & Others v Kebede & Others [2017].
Prior to joining us, Sarah trained and practised with several international law firms, including Eversheds and Osborne Clarke. Sarah is a member of Insol International, IWIRC and RISA.
