Biography

Wenhao Han is a partner in our Litigation, Insolvency and Restructuring team in the Shanghai office. He has over 15 years of working experience in Asia and London, focussing on complex cross-border commercial disputes. He represents international and Chinese companies as well as private clients in a broad range of financing, acquisition, international trade, shipping and insurance disputes arising from M&A, commercial, shareholder, and agency agreements. Wenhao Han is a partner in our Litigation, Insolvency and Restructuring team in the Shanghai office. He has over 15 years of working experience in Asia and London, focussing on complex cross-border commercial disputes. He represents international and Chinese companies as well as private clients in a broad range of financing, acquisition, international trade, shipping and insurance disputes arising from M&A, commercial, shareholder, and agency agreements. He is also experienced in handling regulatory investigations, injunctions, jurisdiction disputes and insolvencies. His current cases include commercial disputes and insolvency cases in the British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands.

Wenhao acts in English court litigation and arbitration proceedings before international tribunals including the CIETAC, ICC, LCIA, and LMAA and is regularly appointed as an arbitrator for international commercial arbitrations. He is dually-qualified in both the PRC and the UK, and is qualified as a Solicitor-Advocate with Higher Rights of Audience in England and Wales. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a supporting member of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association.

Prior to relocating to Shanghai, Wenhao was a partner at Zhong Lun Law Firm in London. He trained and qualified with Norton Rose Fulbright in London.

Wenhao is fluent in Mandarin and English
