Statement on the crisis in Ukraine

We are deeply concerned and saddened by the loss of life and growing humanitarian crisis arising from the military conflict in Ukraine.

We acknowledge it is important that Harneys share some detail of the steps we are taking in response. We will not accept any new instructions involving work related to or which supports the Russian state or individuals or entities associated with the Russian regime. This extends beyond adherence to all applicable international sanctions which are implemented as a matter of course. We are undertaking a thorough review of our client base and, subject only to legal and professional obligations, taking action to terminate any mandates which do not meet these criteria.

Our thoughts are with all those affected by the conflict and we hope for a peaceful resolution as soon as possible.
