Hot Off The Press: New Edition of Cross-Border Insolvency with Harneys Chapter

Harneys is very pleased to report that one of our team members has been busy contributing to a recent textbook on Cross-Border Insolvency.

The latest edition of Cross-Border Insolvency: A Commentary on the UNCITRAL Model Law was published in September and is now available for purchase. Harneys' Partner and Global Head of Litigation & Insolvency Phillip Kite authored the British Virgin Islands chapter of the Cross-Border Insolvency text, which also includes chapters on other key offshore jurisdictions, including Cayman Islands, as well as onshore jurisdictions including the United Kingdom, USA, Australia and Canada. This edition of the text is updated to include the national implementation of the UNCITRAL Model Law on cross-border insolvency. As the cross-border insolvency practice continues to expand rapidly, it may be difficult to keep up with the legal developments in each jurisdiction.

Fortunately, the commentary provides a thorough analysis of the local enactment and application of the model law in each jurisdiction and is an invaluable guide to those in the cross-border insolvency sector. We are pleased to be able to offer a discount of 35 per cent off the published price.
