Paul Ebanks is a member of the Investment Funds team in our Cayman Islands office. He regularly advises on all aspects of the set-up, ongoing operations, and termination of investment funds including matters related to corporate governance and regulatory compliance. He regularly advises on all aspects of the set-up, ongoing operations, and termination of investment funds including matters related to corporate governance and regulatory compliance. He also has expertise in general corporate law matters.

Prior to joining Harneys in 2021, Paul worked for other Cayman Islands law firms gaining a wealth of experience. Paul functioned within the investment portfolio arm of a private family office where he had exposure to a wide array of global investment products with varying investment objectives. He also has experience with the accounting mechanics of investment funds, having previously worked with two of the largest fund service providers in Grand Cayman, Maples and CIBC Bank & Trust.

Paul is a member of the Cayman Islands Legal Practitioners Association.
