Harneys climbs the Chambers Global 2021 rankings

Harneys has climbed the rankings in the Chambers Global guide, moving up to Band 2 in the Global-wide Offshore rankings. The firm has also been recognised for its Corporate and Finance, Investments Funds and Dispute Resolution practices in the British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands. Harneys also continues to be the only firm listed for its Anguilla General Business Law expertise based abroad.

British Virgin Islands

Partners Greg Boyd, Philip Graham and George Weston were all recommended for their Corporate and Finance expertise. Sources say: “The Harneys BVI team is highly responsive and technically strong.” Another interviewee added: “They exceed expectations across the board.”

Partners Peter Ferrer, Claire Goldstein and Andrew Thorp were recognised as experts in Dispute Resolution. A source commented: "They provide excellent legal advice," further noting that "they work very efficiently and always respond very quickly".

Cayman Islands

Partner Lewis Chong was recommended for his Investment Funds experience and Partner Nick Hoffman was listed for their Dispute Resolution expertise.

Anguilla

Partner Russell Willings was listed as an expert based in the UK and Partner Michelle Frett-Mathavious was listed as an expert based in the BVI. Clients say: "They are very responsive to questions, reply within the timescales given and provide clear and well-written advice."
