Harneys partner hire strengthens Hong Kong Litigation, Insolvency, and Restructuring practice
Harneys has bolstered its Hong Kong Litigation, Insolvency & Restructuring group with the appointment of Calvin Chow, who joins the firm as a partner*.
Calvin has extensive experience in complex commercial disputes, advising both PRC-based and international clients on a myriad of issues, including listed company disputes, shareholder disputes, insolvency matters, and family disputes such as contentious probates. He also advises on claims involving fraud and funds disputes in multiple jurisdictions.
Before joining Harneys, Calvin was a partner at a Hong Kong law firm where he maintained a broad civil litigation practice, often appearing in court and advising companies and individuals in matters ranging from commercial disputes to the restructuring of listed companies and regulatory matters. For over a decade, Calvin regularly advised lawyers and insurers as a panel solicitor under the Hong Kong Solicitors Professional Indemnity Scheme. He is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
