Henno has extensive experience in the establishment and restructuring of a wide range of offshore trust structures, including private family trusts, asset protection trusts and succession planning vehicles. He regularly advises on the preparation of offshore and cross-border wills, family governance arrangements and the design of multi-generational wealth preservation structures. His practice also encompasses advising private trust companies and corporate trustees on the ongoing administration and management of complex trust arrangements.
Having lived and worked across the Isle of Man, British Virgin Islands, South Africa and Singapore, Henno brings a genuinely international perspective to cross-border estate and private client matters. This breadth of experience across both common law and civil law jurisdictions enables him to navigate the interplay between different legal systems and to advise on structures that span multiple jurisdictions, with a particular focus on clients with connections to Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
Henno is admitted to the practising roll in the British Virgin Islands and is on the non-practising roll in England and Wales and South Africa.
Henno is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
