Romane Duncan is a member of our Litigation, Insolvency and Restructuring practice in the BVI. Prior to joining us, Romane was a Judicial Research Intern at the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court Head Quarters in Saint Lucia where he was tasked with researching complex issues in cross-jurisdictional commercial litigation, judgment and digest vetting and documenting sittings of the Court of Appeal. He also interned at Nigel Jones and Company, one of the largest law firms in Jamaica, where he was involved in matters including personal injury, commercial litigation, industrial trade labour disputes and debt and asset recovery. Prior to joining us, Romane was a Judicial Research Intern at the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court Head Quarters in Saint Lucia where he was tasked with researching complex issues in cross-jurisdictional commercial litigation, judgment and digest vetting and documenting sittings of the Court of Appeal.
He also interned at Nigel Jones and Company, one of the largest law firms in Jamaica, where he was involved in matters including personal injury, commercial litigation, industrial trade labour disputes and debt and asset recovery.
Prior to that, Romane was also a trade policy intern at the CARICOM Secretariat, Office of Trade Negotiations in Barbados where he advised CARICOM Member States on their varying international trading agreements and how these countries can comply with their international obligations.
