Biography

Marina Tse is a counsel in the Banking & Finance team in our Hong Kong office. She specialises in banking and finance transactions, as well as restructuring and general corporate matters. She advises on leveraged finance, syndicated lending, margin lending, acquisition finance, pre-IPO finance, privatisations and bond issuances.

Prior to joining us in 2018, Marina was an associate in the corporate and commercial department of a Hong Kong law firm where she was routinely involved in secured and unsecured lending transactions concerning companies listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

Advising New World Development Company Limited in connection with its HK$88 billion (approximately US$11.3 billion) financing transaction.

Advising Yuzhou Group Holdings Company Limited in relation to its restructuring of its US$6.7 billion offshore debt liabilities.

Advising China Aoyuan Group in relation to the restructuring of its US$6.2 billion offshore debts.

Advising the arrangers on the facilities for the privatisation of Nasdaq-listed 58.com by a consortium investors. This transaction won the Finance Deal of the Year 2021 at the Asian Legal Business Hong Kong Law Awards.

Advising the arrangers on the facilities for the leveraged take-private of Nasdaq-listed 51job, Inc., a leading human resource service provider in China.
